COLONIAL LANDSCAPE RE-DESIGN

LARCHMONT, NY

This colonial exudes Larchmont charm just like its residents : what the clients needed and wanted was a reinvigorated garden that made use of the property’s unique spaces as if treating each one as its own outdoor room. We worked to refine the patio beds, the “corner oasis” as well as the neighbor border and front and side foundations. Most importantly, we selected just the right specimen tree for their front foundation. The plantings executed by us are the precise ratio of 70% native to 30% non-native & non-invasive - which is generally how our firm operates. Additionally , we preserved heirloom plantings such as the Client’s mother’s Peony Tree, along with tulips that were planted from Holland many years ago.
